Welcome to Jeraly.com which is more or less just another nook on the web that we don't know what to do with. Well, that's not entirely true, but it will become clearer over the coming days and months. Ultimately there is but one purpose for this site - to bring Aly and I closer to the day when we never have to separate again, and give us something to pour our dreams, desires, and affections into. This means that anything that's a part of our lives will inevitably wind up right here.

You should know a little bit about us and our relationship, it might give you an idea of why we've made this site and what we're about. 

My name is Jeremy Redinger, and I'm from Southern California, USA. My girlfriend, mate, confidant, significant other, etc. is from Bristol, England. Aly and I met on the internet late in 2001 and our relationship has taken many hectic turns, both for the good and the bad. The space that seperates us when we're apart is almost unbearable and we're doing everything we can to be physically together as often as possible, until such time as we're allowed to be together by our governments. It's a hard road, but we're both more stubborn than mules, and we have refused to give up our dreams for a magnificent wedding. So why don't we just get married and get it over with? Because... we are saving all we can just to see each other, and want to have a perfect wedding, not just an excuse for a visa. Once we're together permanently, then we can afford to dedicate our savings to what we really want - to buy a house, settle down, have children and pursue everything we have always dreamed about. I've always been a bit soppy and Aly will almost certainly laugh at me for being so! But it'll make me smile and every relationship needs a good bit of laughter, especially if you can laugh at each other and yourselves.
